Later tonight, President Biden and Donald Trump will take the stage for the first presidential debate of the 2024 election.
From day one, the Biden administration has fought tooth and nail to lower costs and make affordable health care a reality for seniors and families across the nation. President Biden has expanded affordable coverage, lowered prescription drug costs, strengthened Medicaid for moms and kids, and worked to reduce inequities in care. On the other hand, Donald Trump has also fully reignited his war on health care as record numbers rely on the ACA for affordable coverage. Repealing the ACA means millions of Americans would lose coverage, costs would skyrocket, and people with pre-existing conditions would lose essential protections.
