Digital Associate

At Protect Our Care, we are leading the fight to protect and strengthen health care for millions of Americans. Our strategy combines a campaign mentality with a best-in-class earned media and communications program, a highly effective inside game with policy makers, and deep engagement at the state and local level.
We are seeking a Digital Associate to join our growing digital team. If you have strong writing skills, a knack for social media, and a passion for expanding health care access in the U.S., this is the job for you!
As part of the digital team, you will draft social media posts, maintain our website, and help execute the organization’s long-term digital strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the digital team to maintain and expand Protect Our Care’s digital presence across platforms.
- Draft sharp, engaging, and on-message social copy for social posts, video scripts, and graphics.
- Brainstorm and identify ideas for new and innovative digital content campaigns.
- Other duties as needed and assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong copywriting skills.
- Strong familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok) and online trends/internet culture.
- Ability to work remotely in a fast-paced, campaign-style environment.
- Passion for progressive policy.
- Video editing and graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Cloud) a plus.

Benefits
Comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance for employees (and their families). Employees are able to enroll in 401k retirement plans and are eligible for a 3% automatic contribution and up to a 3% employer match on 401k contributions. Employees are also eligible for pre-tax transportation benefits. Employees will receive 120 hours of vacation time, 80 hours of health leave, up to 2 days of casual leave, and 20 hours of volunteer leave annually. Employees will also receive 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are eligible for 12 weeks of paid family and medical leave after 90 days of employment.
